The pages are an extract from the RUsecure Information Security Policy Suite. The policies themselves are provided in a choice of two formats: a PDF/MS-Word policy document, or an interactive searchable online edition, with similarities to this page.

  • An e-mail with important contents, and 'signed' with a Digital Signature may still not be acted upon by the recipient, resulting in possible delays and loss to your organisation. See Digital Signature for further explanation.

  • Ensure that the recipient is willing to operate, using Digital Signatures as a means of authentication.
  • Confirm that the recipient is familiar with the usage and verifications of such messages.
  • Ensure that Digital Signatures will be upheld legally for this type of transaction.
